Installation Guide

Follow these steps to install and activate your eSIM.

Before you begin

Make sure your device is eSIM-compatible, network-unlocked, and connected to Wi-Fi.

iPhone (iOS 17+)

  1. Open the flexiSIM app and go to My eSIMs.
  2. Tap on your purchased eSIM and select Install.
  3. When prompted, scan the QR code displayed — or tap "Enter Details Manually" and paste the activation code.
  4. Your iPhone will download the eSIM profile. Tap Continue when prompted.
  5. Label the eSIM (e.g. "Travel Data") and choose whether to use it as your default data line.
  6. When you arrive at your destination, go to Settings > Cellular and turn on the eSIM line.
Tip: You can install your eSIM before your trip. It won't activate or start counting down until you connect to a network at your destination.

Android (Samsung, Google Pixel, etc.)

  1. Open the flexiSIM app and go to My eSIMs.
  2. Tap on your purchased eSIM and select Install.
  3. Scan the QR code, or tap "Enter activation code" to paste it manually.
  4. Your phone will download and install the eSIM profile.
  5. Once installed, go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs.
  6. Enable the new eSIM and set it as the data SIM. Disable "Data roaming" on your primary SIM to avoid charges.

Activation

When you arrive at your destination, make sure the eSIM line is turned on and set as the active data line. Your phone will connect to a local network automatically. The plan validity period begins from this first connection.

Troubleshooting

If you have trouble connecting, try restarting your device. Make sure "Data Roaming" is enabled on the eSIM line (this is local data, not actual roaming). If issues persist, contact support@flexisim.app.
